oh boy is this unique! Here we have we lovely 19th century blue enameled opaline glass genie bottle! what a lovely example of enameled glass. It gives the white and the blue a seamless look! This was a very difficult technique to do in the 18th century, It's still not easy to do today!
This is 100+ years old and was clearly very loved and adored, the condition demonstrates that. The gold detail is wearing away in several places on the neck, where it was handled most frequently. Incredibly the parts were the gold is inlaid still look bright as ever. The thin stripes on the neck are a design that has been attributed to Bacharach.
