Edge tape

Compensation tape (Servalint) – is a compensation pad between the edge of the screed and the enclosing structures to which it adjoins (walls, columns, etc.). It is a polymer-based tape with sufficient elasticity, 8 mm thick, 8 cm wide / 10cm / 12 cm / 15cm / 18cm / 20cm / 24cm / 30cm. The choice of belt width depends on the thickness of the concrete layer. The main purpose of edgeband is to exclude “sound bridges” that contribute to the transmission of impact noise to adjacent rooms, and to compensate for the mutual influence of deformations of the prefabricated floor and load-bearing structures.
