Ceramic fibre HT 1200 boards

HT 1200 Hitec Insadon boards are manufactured on the basis of amorphous ceramic fiber with a classification temperature at 1260°C. The ceramic fiber is mond with addition of mineral and organic binders and then vacuum formed into boards in a wide range of thicknesses from 3 up to 100 mm. HT boards can be easily cut and processed with standard wood tools, off course they can also be installed with glue or refractory mortar, and optionally with steel anchors.

Main properties

The properties of ceramic boards are a result from basic features of HT fiber, the most important of which should be underline, are:

• Appropriate strength at low density
• Thermal stability and good resistance to thermal shocks
• Good Insulation property and low heat accumulation
• Resistance to molten metals, fames and hot gases
• High chemical resistance also to moisture
