Tefapak GRF 260 packing

This gland packing is based on gPTFE, Le graphitized, expanded PTFE. The GRF rope is made of PTFE foil thin strips braided with graphite addition. The high graphite content improves thermal conductivity, sliding properties and reduces friction wear, which significantly extends the service life in dynamic applications.

Properties and advantages

The GRF packing guarantees low coefficient of friction, good heat transfer, excellent mechanical properties, at the same time it keeps high chemical resistance of PTFE.

Areas of application

Packing GRF 250 is designed for pumps operating with a small amount of impurities, they can be used for almost all chemical medium, opt for abrasive media and strong oxidants. It is the soft sealant, easy for use and montage, therefore it is perfect for centrifugal pumps.
