Properties and advantages

The aramid fiber is characterized by particularly high mechanical strength. However, the high friction of the aramid AP packing may increase wear on some parts of the stuffing box, especially the shaft.

Area of applications

Arampak AP packing is intended for pumps and valves for pups or abrasive media. Aramid is especially recommended for closing rings in packing sets heavily contaminated with sold particles, such as: drainage systems, sewage pumping stations and hydro-transport. The AP 300 sealant is also suitable for hygienic conditions, where the risk of contamination of process fluids is unacceptable.
