A general-purpose low-hydrogen electrode designed for producing high-quality welded joints with guaranteed toughness down to −30 °C. It provides excellent weldability in all welding positions except vertical-down.
The electrode produces low-hydrogen weld metal, in accordance with AWS HD requirements of ≤ 4 ml/100 g.
Suitable for welding steel structures, boilers, tanks, vehicles, ships and machinery, as well as for depositing buffer layers when welding high-carbon steels. Particularly suitable for welding offshore and marine structures.
