Having served as a professional sailor, Ivar Lind Dedekam has sailed under more than 50,000 nautical miles in more than 25 years, including three times crossing the Atlantic. Based on his experience, he has written several books for recreational seafarers, which in 2015 were published by Boatmen wisdom in Navigare OÜ and in 2016 by Sail and Rigging Trimmer.
